高加索人种(英语:Caucasian race, Caucasoid),[1]或称欧罗巴人种(英语:Europid, Europoid),是历史上被认为是一个过时的生物分类阶元[2]人种划分,主要分布在欧洲北非非洲之角西亚中亚南亚北美北亚南美大洋洲[3]这个术语在体质人类学中用于来自这些地域的很多人群,与人类肤色没有必然性关联。[4]高加索人种的种族主要有雅利安人种闪米特人种含米特人种,还包括乌拉尔语系民族等。

高加索人种的概念最早由德国学者克里斯托夫·迈纳斯英语Christoph Meiners在1785年著《The Outline of History of Mankind》中提出,他将人类分为“高加索人种”和“蒙古人种”,他认为南高加索地区(格鲁吉亚亚美尼亚)的人可作为欧洲人群的原型。

19世纪的欧洲人类学家,将“高加索人种”一词用来指称体质人类学上一类符合人体测量学中特定数据范围里的人,[5]当时以此观念作为种族归类的依据。[6]19世纪时,有多位自然科学家在种族的问题上发表了自己的观点,其中布卢门巴赫的五分法则是19世纪时比较常见的:蒙古人种,即黄色人种美洲人种,即红色人种;高加索人种,即白色人种马来人种,即棕色人种埃塞俄比亚人种,即黑色人种

当高加索人种的概念的定义范围限定于欧洲人时候,就与白种人的概念相重合。在《牛津当代英语大辞典》中,Caucasian或Caucasoid有许多不同的定义,第一是指“一大类属于欧洲西亚印度次大陆、以及部分北美洲非洲之角的人类”;第二是指“起源于欧洲的白皮肤者”;第三则是指“东南欧属于高加索地区的人”。[7]在《大英百科全书》中,将“欧罗巴人种”描述为具有淡色皮肤、生物化学上的相似性,以及多变的毛发色彩及眼睛色彩[8]

有学者建议不再使用以地域命名的人种划分如高加索、蒙古利亚、尼格罗人种于科学界中,与人类研究相关的领域。[9]

体态特征 编辑

按体态特征做出的此人种的定义,可追溯至德国人类学家约翰·弗里德里希·布卢门巴赫(1752年–1840年),他归纳高加索人是拥有:偏白肤色、红润脸颊,以及褐色或栗色毛发;另外还有近乎球状的头形、椭圆形的脸蛋、姿态直挺、前额平滑、鼻梁狭窄略呈勾状,高鼻梁,以及中嘴;门牙与下颚垂直、嘴唇(尤其是下嘴唇)适度开启,且下巴圆满。

分类 编辑

中世纪时期,高加索人种是主要分布在欧洲西亚中亚南亚北非及部分西伯利亚。16世纪以后随欧洲地理大发现扩散到美洲大洋洲和其它地区。分布在欧亚非大陆的高加索人种中可分出:

遗传学 编辑

2019年发表在《欧洲人类遗传学杂志-自然》上的一项最新遗传研究表明,西亚(阿拉伯人),欧洲人,北非人,南亚人(印度人)和一些中亚人的人口彼此密切相关。他们可以与撒哈拉以南非洲人或东亚人口区分开。[12]

在现代遗传学基因研究的最新成果中,一般将Y染色体单倍型类群I,与自末次冰盛期之前就居于本地的欧洲人相关[13],其中Y染色体单倍型类群I1北欧日耳曼人相关[14][15]

学者一般将假定的原始印欧人Y染色体单倍型类群R1a1相关联,在欧洲主要出现在东欧中欧。在欧洲还有与其亲缘最近的Y染色体单倍型类群R1b,在新石器时代随农耕技术而从近东传入[16][17][18][19],与西欧凯尔特人相关。

高加索,有密集出现的Y染色体单倍型类群G。在巴尔干半岛,有密集出现的Y染色体单倍型类群E1b1b1(有称E3b)。位于巴尔干地区的科索沃(超过45%)、阿尔巴尼亚黑山(均为 27%)、保加利亚(23%)为欧洲分布最密集出现E1b1b1的地方,E1b1b1主要出现在北非东非黎凡特环地中海地区。[20]芬兰人立陶宛人中,有密集出现的Y染色体单倍型类群H
