光氢
光氢（英语：photohydrogen）是在人造或自然光的帮助下产生的氢。这就是树的叶子如何将水分子分裂成质子（氢离子）、电子（产生碳水化合物）和氧（作为废物释放到空气中）[1]。光氢也可以通过紫外线使水光解离而产生。
有时在通过使用诸如细菌或藻类之类的微生物从阳光中获取可再生能源的背景下讨论光氢。这些生物利用氢化酶产生氢，氢酶将水分解反应产生的质子转化为氢气，然后收集该氢气并将其用作生物燃料[2][3]。
