博兹札记
《博兹札记》(Sketches by Boz),英国作家狄更斯的第一部散文集,1836年出版,当时他还是英国《晨报》的国会记者,专门采访英国下议院的政策辩论,也时常采访各种选举活动。这段时间他经常在期刊上发表文章、短篇作品,并以“博兹”为笔名,文章笔调轻松,内容诙谐的风格,后来两次结集出版为“博兹札记”,第一版由政治连环漫画家克鲁克香克(George Cruikshank)插图。博兹札记虽未让狄更斯名躁一时,但引起一家出版商的青睐,请他为“运动员画册月刊”写说明文字,他原本不懂玩球、猎狐,但期间因原画家猝逝,使得狄更斯反客为主、掌握主动,骋驰想像空间,于是出现后来的“匹克威克外传”(The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club)。
