哈罗德·W·库恩
哈罗德·威廉·库恩（英语：Harold William Kuhn，1925年7月29日—2014年7月2日）是一名研究博弈论的美国数学家。他与大卫·盖尔和阿尔伯特·W·塔克一起获得1980年约翰·冯纽曼理论奖。他曾是普林斯顿大学数学系的名誉教授，因卡鲁什-库恩-塔克条件、库恩定理、开发库恩扑克以及描述任务分配问题的匈牙利算法而知名。但最近人们发现卡尔·雅可比在1890年以拉丁文发表的一篇论文中早已解决分配问题，比匈牙利算法早了几十年[1][2]。

库恩于1925年出生在加利福尼亚州圣塔莫尼卡[3]。他因与约翰·福布斯·纳什的交流而知名，他是纳什的研究生同学、终生的朋友和同事，也是使纳什得到诺贝尔奖委员会关注的关键人物，从而使纳什获得1994年诺贝尔经济学奖[4]。库恩和纳什都与阿尔伯特·W·塔克有长期的联系和合作，后者是纳什的论文导师。库恩共同编辑了《The Essential John Nash》[5]，并在2001年改编自纳什生平的电影《美丽心灵》中被聘为数学顾问[6]。
库恩曾担任工业与应用数学学会（SIAM）的第3任主席。他被选为2002年运筹学和管理科学研究所的研究员[7]。
1949年，库恩与逻辑学家莱昂·亨金的妹妹埃斯特尔·亨金（Estelle Henkin）结婚。他的大儿子克利福德·库恩（Clifford Kuhn）是一名口述历史学家及乔治亚州立大学的副教授，以其对美国南方的学术研究而知名。另一个儿子尼古拉斯·库恩（Nicholas Kuhn）是维吉尼亚大学的数学教授[8]。 His youngest son, Jonathan Kuhn, is Director of Art and Antiquities for the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.
