国际病毒分类委员会
管理病毒分類和命名的國際組織
国际病毒分类委员会（International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV)）是一个对病毒进行生物学分类和命名并制定相关标准的组织[1][2][3]。国际病毒分类委员会已制定了一套病毒的通用分类方案。另外，该委员会还制定了对病毒的描述、命名以及分类的方法。该委员会的成员都是被公认为病毒学专家的人物[4]。该委员会是由微生物学会国际联盟的病毒学部组建的，而且现在仍由该组织领导。具体的工作，比如划定某一科病毒的范围，通常由一个由研究相关种的细菌的专家组成的研究小组进行[2]。
