地中海舰队
英国地中海舰队，亦被称为地中海海军基地，是英国皇家海军的一支舰群编制部队。[1] 舰队在其大部分历史中都是海军最负盛名的司令部之一，捍卫著英国与大英帝国东部范围的大部分地区之间至关重要的海上联系。地中海舰队的第一任总司令是1654年9月任命的罗伯特·布莱克（尊称为地中海舰队司令）。[2] 舰队一直存在到1967年。
