恐暴龙

恐暴龙（学名："Dinotyrannus"），是暴龙亚科恐龙的一属，生活于上白垩纪的北美洲。
恐暴龙的身体骨骼化石是从美国蒙大拿州海尔河组发现的[1]，最初被认为是属于艾伯塔龙的一个物种，并被乔治·奥利舍夫斯基（George Olshevsky）命名为Albertosaurus megagracilis。其后在1995年的研究，提出这副身体骨骼应建立为新属，并命名为恐暴龙，模式种是大纤细恐暴龙（"D. megagracilis"）。
恐暴龙的学名的意思是“恐怖的暴龙”[2]，意指它们与暴龙非常的类似。在2003年，有研究指后弯齿龙及恐暴龙其实都是暴龙，不过分别是暴龙的幼年个体及亚成年个体[3]。因此恐暴龙目前已成为暴龙的异名。
