普泰语
普泰语（ภาษาผู้ไท）是一种西南部台语支语言，分布在老挝和泰国。普泰语分布在依善语和老挝语占优势的地区，受它们的影响。与岱康语等其他台语的比较[1]从未足够系统地进行过，无从得知具体的分类地位。

普泰语和南亚语系戈都语支有接触。无论是在老挝中部还是在泰国东北部，总能找到和普泰语邻接的戈都语方言，如布鲁语、苏语或卡唐语。
使用者 编辑
泰国普泰语使用者人数在1993年是约15.6万。他们主要分布在穆达汉府周边，聚居在穆达汉府坎差县、那空拍侬、乌汶叻差他尼、加拉信和沙功那空府；还分布在老挝甘蒙省和沙湾拿吉省。在沙拉湾省和占巴塞省、越南和平省、中国也有发现过的报告。老挝中部和泰国东北部的不同方言间差距很小。
普泰语使用者(包括自认为的)以及越南普泰语使用者使用一种有不同声调系统的方言。
在越南，普泰语属于台语民族，与傣担（黑傣）、傣亮（红傣）、傣端（白傣）、傣清和行彤傣语。台语民族是越南54个民族中的第三大民族。

虽然这种语言有着丰富的遗产和区域使用，在泰国还是逐渐被主流的依善语吞并。
