智慧树 (澳大利亚)
智慧树（英语：Tree of Knowledge）是一棵位于澳大利亚昆士兰州巴卡尔丁的树，其所在地被视为澳大利亚工党的诞生地。[1]

智慧树是一棵年龄为200岁的桉树。[2]此树的所在地被视为澳大利亚工党的诞生地，全因巴卡尔丁在1891年澳大利亚剪羊毛者罢工期间是工人的总部，且工人们大部分决定和计划均在此处定下。[1]
象征 编辑
于1891年，一批正在进行抗议的剪羊毛者在智慧树树荫下成立了澳大利亚工党。[1]于1892年，工党成员在智慧树下诵读了工党的成立宣言。[3]因此，此树成为了工党的一个重要象征。
死亡 编辑
于1991年，人们发现此树患上了顶枯病。[1]于2006年，此树更被一些破坏者以草甘膦（一种除草剂）毒害。此树最终不敌草甘膦的毒害，于2006年10月3日被一位树艺师宣布死亡。之后，澳大利亚工党悬赏A$10,000收集一切关于破坏者的资讯。
此树的遗骸于2007年7月29日被移除。根据昆士兰州政府指出，此树的遗骸正在进行木材防腐。在防腐工程完结时，高7米，阔2米的遗骸将会移送至一个特殊保存设施。[4]
纪念 编辑
在此树死亡前，一些工党成员把其部分树枝剪了下来，并在巴卡尔丁栽种。这些树枝现在仍然在成长中。此树的复制品亦被栽种在布里斯班的环境经济专区内。[5]于2008年，前昆士兰农业、渔业和林业部的工人成功将此树复制。[6]
于2011年4月19日，澳大利亚总理茱莉雅·吉拉德与澳大利亚首都直辖区首席部长乔恩·斯坦霍普于堪培拉国立树木园（National Arboretum Canberra）中参与了智慧树扦插仪式。[7][8]
于2009年5月2日，位于此树原址上的纪念馆完工。此纪念馆建造费用高达A$500万。[9]纪念馆于2010年获得了澳大利亚建筑师学会（Australian Institute of Architects）国家建筑奖的国家公共建筑奖。[10]
