桑特海峡战役(Battle of the Saintes)是美国独立战争中英国海军在西印度群岛的重要胜利，从而结束了该地区的法国威胁。

经过

桑特海峡战役发生在1782年4月9日至12日，是英、法国在加勒比海地区的一场殖民利益争夺战。 当时法国以马提尼克为基地，英国则占据圣卢西亚，桑特（Saintes）是加勒比海三个小岛的名称，位为多米尼加和瓜德罗普之间。这次战役法国战败，法国那艘以特洛伊王子帕里斯（Paris）命名的巨舰也沦为英国战利品。

此战英国舰队和法国舰队各以战列线对阵时，风向突然改变，英舰队司令乔治·罗德尼（George Rodney）立刻率领六艘战舰突破法舰队的一字长蛇阵，其他英舰也就近突破敌阵，将法国舰队分割成几段。结果五艘法舰投降。
