现代战争
现代战争是指引入现代化工业热兵器装备（机枪、军用航空器、坦克、无畏舰）、信息技术以及作战理念的战争。 [1][2] 有军事专家认为，有着后方动员、重视情报概念的南北战争是第一场现代战争。[3] 也有着重在物质层面的说法，认为以火药为主要武器的战争都属于现代战争，因而拿破仑战争、第一次鸦片战争、美墨战争、克里米亚战争都属于现代战争[4][5][6]。
