白尾鸢
白尾鸢（学名：Elanus leucurus，英语：White-tailed kite）为鹰科黑翅鸢属的一种鸟类，是一种中型鸢，分布于北美洲西部及南美洲的部分地区。

描述 编辑
其腹部羽毛为白色，肩部和翅尖则为黑色。体长35—43厘米（14—17英寸），翼展88—102厘米（35—40英寸），体重250—380克（8.8—13.4盎司），尾长15.1—18.6厘米（5.9—7.3英寸），跗骨长3.6 cm（1.4英寸）[2]。因与黑翅鸢很像，而曾一度在生物学分类上被当作黑翅鸢（Elanus caeruleus）[3]。后来被指出它其实与其生活在旧大陆的同胞们在习性及体型等很多方面都不太一样，因此划分出来成为了一个种[4]。
