约翰·马可·阿列佐
约翰·马可·阿列佐（英语：John Marco Allegro，1923年2月17日—1988年2月17日[1][2]），英国考古学家与死海古卷学家。他透过书籍与广播电台推广死海古卷，为死海古卷的普及者。他是部分有名且具有争议性卷轴出版物，《伯释尔》的编辑者。后期阿列佐的数本著作，包含《The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross》，为他带来了名气与知名度，也毁了他的职业生涯。

阿列佐于1939年被文法学校录取，而他并没有进入大学；由于他的父亲认为高等教育没有价值，因此阿列佐加入了英国海军，在第二次世界大战时成为了高级军官。在战争结束后，他开始接受卫理工会教团的训练，但是他发现他在希伯来文与希腊文上有更高的兴趣；所以他接受政府军事补助，就读于曼彻斯特大学[3]。1951年，阿列佐获得了曼彻斯特大学东方研究的荣誉学位。随后于1952年，在H·H·罗利的指导下获得硕士学位。1953年，他进一步在牛津大学的戈弗雷·柴德下面研究希伯来语方言，之后被杰拉尔德·兰克斯特·哈丁邀请加入研究耶路撒冷死海古卷的研究行列，他因此花了一年时间研究这些卷轴。1954年，阿列佐成为曼彻斯特大学的闪米语系比较语言学的讲师[4][5][6]。
