谭若思

谭若思（英语：Ross Terrill，1938年—），澳大利亚历史学家和记者，中国专家，专长于中华人民共和国历史。美国哈佛大学费正清中国研究中心研究员。

生平

1938年出生于澳大利亚墨尔本，现居美国。他1962年从墨尔本大学获得文学学士一级荣誉，1970年从哈佛大学获得政治学博士，同年开始在哈佛大学教书，1974年成为哈佛大学副教授。他曾多次在美国国会作证，撰写了许多文章，出版了九本书。他多年来一直在美国哈佛大学的费正清中国研究中心担任研究员，最近在德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校以及澳大利亚莫纳什大学担任客座教授。
