罗德里戈于2001年1月9日出生于巴西圣保罗州奥萨斯库，并在2011年以室内五人制足球球员的身份加入的桑托斯[1]。2017年3月，他随队参加一线队的训练，并在训练结束后获主帅多里瓦尔·儒尼奥尔（英语：Dorival Júnior）加进南美解放者杯对阵葡萄牙体育水晶比赛的大名单内[4]。同年7月21日，罗德里戈签下其人生中第一份职业合约，为期五年[5]。2017年11月1日，他获看守教练埃拉诺提拔为队内的主力[6]。
