美国采暖、制冷与空调工程师学会（American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers）简称ASHRAE，于1894年在美国纽约成立[3]，是由暖通空调（HVAC）工程师所组成的学会，全球的会员超过五万人，学会主要注重在楼宇系统、能源效率、室内空气质量、冷冻及可持续性。

ASHRAE是于1894年，在纽约市一个工程师的会议中产生的，一开始的总部是在四十七街，自从1895年起每年会有一次的会议[4]。在1954年之前称为美国采暖与通风工程师学会（American Society of Heating and Ventilating Engineers，简称ASHVE），在1954年改名为美国采暖与空调工程师学会（American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers，简称ASHAE）[5]，后来于1959年和美国制冷工程师学会（American Society of Refrigerating Engineers，简称ASRE）合并成现在的组织，名称也改为美国采暖、制冷与空调工程师学会。
