历史

执行长亚历克斯-扎沃洛科夫(Alex Zhavoronkov)于2014年创立英矽智能,致力于发展替代方案来取代药厂里药物研发中的动物实验。借由人工智能以及深度学习技术,英矽智能的AI引擎能够分析药物如何作用于细胞以及可能的副作用。透过Pharma.AI,英矽智能提供机器学习的服务给数家知名药厂、生物科技公司以及化妆品公司。[5][6] 英矽智能亦闻名于透过自行创建的分子线上黑客松来招募所需人才。[7]

英矽智能有许多的合作案应用次世代的人工智能技术例如生成对抗网络(GANs)和强化学习(RL)来产生具有理想特性的新颖分子结构。[8][9]透过和美国哈佛大学教授Alan Aspuru-Guzik研究团队合作,他们发表了更好的生成对抗性网络架构,结合生成对抗网络强化学习以及可微神经电脑(DNC)来产生新的分子结构。[10]

英矽智能最近和11个不同的研究机构共同发表在自然通讯的论文提出iPANDA降维算法, [11] 此外英矽智能也和生物科技公司以外的单位合作发表论文专注在组织多样性以及反种族歧视。[12] 英矽智能并和葛兰素史克 [13] Bio Time,[14] Juvenescence,[15] 和量子电脑公司 YMK Photonics是合作伙伴。[16]
