萨默塞特县 (新泽西州)
萨默塞特县（英语：Somerset County）是美国新泽西州中北部的一个县，面积790平方公里，为纽约都会区的一部分；根据2020年美国人口普查，共有人口34万5,361人。县治位于桑莫维尔。本郡于1688年5月14日自密德萨克斯郡分出[1]。其名称源自位于英格兰的同名郡（Somerset）。

根据美国人口普查局资料，萨默塞特县总面积为790平方公里（305平方英里），其中789平方公里为陆地，1平方公里为水体。
最高点为位于伯纳维尔（Bernardsville）的Mine Mountain，约高海拔262米（860英尺）。最低点为与密德萨克斯郡交界处的拉里坦河河面，相当于海平面。

根据2000年的人口普查[8]，萨默塞特县人口为297,490人，108,984户住户，以及78,359个家庭；人口密度为每平方公里377人，总住宅数为112,023户，平均住宅密度为每平方公里142户。种族组成为79.34%白人、7.53%非裔、0.13%美洲原住民、8.38%亚裔、0.04%太平洋岛裔、2.74其他族裔，以及1.83%为二或多族裔；8.68%的人口为拉丁裔或南美裔；17.6%为意大利裔、9.3%为德裔、与7.5%为波兰裔。
在108,894户住户内36.2%有18岁以下小孩一同居住、60.6%为婚姻关系夫妻、8.2%为以女性为单亲而无丈夫、而28.1%为非家庭关系但一同居住、22.8%为个人住户、而7%为与65岁以上年长者一同居住。平均住户大小为2.69人，而平均家庭大小为3.19人。
人口年龄分布为：25.5%为18岁以下、5.9%为18至24岁、33.8%为25至44岁、23.5%为45至64岁、以及11.2%为65岁及以上。中间年龄为37岁。每一百个女性有95.4个男性；18岁以上者，每100个女性有92.1个男性。
住户中间收入为76,933美元，而家庭中间收入为90,605美元；男性中间收入为60,602美元，而女性中间收入为41,824美元；人均收入为37,970美元。贫穷比例为1.7%，这是全美国内有两万五千人的郡的最低比例。在全部的人口中，18岁以下有3.8%以及65岁以上有4.9%的人口居住于贫穷线之下。

萨默塞特县为美国最老的郡之一。第一个欧洲殖民者在1681年进入此地方，在邦德溪行政区附近建立城镇；而萨默塞特县在1688年5月22日得到特许建郡；最初的居民大多为荷裔。在美国独立战争时期，萨默塞特县为重要战地，乔治·华盛顿多次举军路过此地；在一战与二战时期，桑莫塞郡为重要的军事基地与装备储蓄制造地之所在。
萨默塞特县在过去都一直以农业为主，直到十九世纪末时桑莫塞丘地区成为当时许多富裕企业家的居住地；直到今天，许多药厂企业家还是居住在该地区[9]1960年代时期，许多在过去一直保持为农村型态的乡村大量且快速的转化成郊区社区，例如桥水镇[10]以及位于瓦彰丘陵（Watchung Hills）的沃昌、绿溪镇、以及沃伦[11][12][13]由于许多著名药厂与科技公司皆位于萨默塞特县，这更加强了郊区化的现象；例如沃伦镇有着“新泽西境内最绿的地方”的美名[11]；而近来许多自纽约市涌入的人口选择居住在此地，并使用通勤铁路拉里腾河谷线与葛拉德史东线或是78号州际公路通勤。
