苏格兰裔美国人
苏格兰裔美国人（Scottish Americans、Scots Americans） 是具有苏格兰血统的美国人[8]。苏格兰-爱尔兰裔美国人跟他们类似，但其祖先在抵达美国之前还在爱尔兰停留了几代。

18世纪苏格兰人开始大量向美国移民，1745年詹姆斯党叛乱以及高地清洗之后速度加快。大规模的迁徙使得苏格兰部分地区人口为之一空，引发了高地清洗。这些移民一开始主要定居在南卡罗来纳州和弗吉尼亚州，后来散布到其他各州。
