西方礼正教会
西方礼正教会，又称西仪正教会、西仪东正教（英语：Western Rite Orthodoxy），是指在神学上与正教会（东正教）共融，但礼仪保留西方教会（如罗马天主教会）传统的教会。西仪正教会的圣礼仪（即天主教的弥撒）礼仪一般采用经修改的特利腾弥撒仪式，但也有使用萨伦礼、莫扎拉比礼、高卢礼乃至使用融入正教会元素的圣公宗公祷书礼仪的西仪正教会[1][2]。时下，大部分西方礼正教会从属于俄罗斯域外正教会与安提约基亚宗主教区北美总教区，但也有一些西仪正教会，如法国正教会是相对独立的教区[3][4]。

19世纪时，孺略·若瑟·奥福伯曾尝试在英国建立一个西方礼正教会但未果[5]。奥弗贝克最初是天主教的司铎（神父），后来选择放弃铎品结婚，并在英国加入了正教会[6]（p. 5）。到1890年，一个美国圣公会的教区宣布脱离圣公会，与东正教达成共融，成为第一个西仪正教会，但不久后这个教区的原主任牧师又转向叙利亚东方正统教会并被祝圣为主教（与正教会不共融），此后一段时期内都没有大批的西方教会会众加入东正教共融[7]。不过19世纪末圣吉洪的一些工作却为北美的西方礼正教会打下基础。为了帮助一些希望加入正教会但又希望保留原本礼仪的圣公会信徒，他审阅了圣公会的公祷书，并基于东正教的神学发明了一套可供原圣公会信徒使用的礼仪[8]。20世纪30年代，美国正统大公教会（American Orthodox Catholic Church）成立，是北美迄今为止影响力相对较大的西方礼正教会群体。
