遗觉记忆

遗觉记忆(Eidetic memory)或“照相式记忆”(photographic memory)是一种瞬间记忆的能力,拥有此能力的人可以在不借助记忆技巧的前提下[1] ,在只看过一次后,短时间内以高精度从记忆中召回图像。[2]
虽然遗觉记忆和照相式记忆在流行文化中常常替换使用[3],但二者实际上是有区别的,遗觉记忆指的是在物体消失后的几分钟内仍能看见它的能力[4][5],照相式记忆指的是能够非常详细地回忆起一页页的文字、数字或类似内容。[6][7]当把这两个概念作出区分时,根据报导,遗觉记忆发生在少数儿童身上,成年人中通常未发现此现象。[4][8]而真正的照相式记忆则从未被证明存在过。[9][10]
