霍姆斯之围

霍姆斯之围是叙利亚内战中叙利亚政府军对霍姆斯市反对派控制区的长期围困战。从2011年5月开始的围困持续3年之久，至2014年5月反对派部队同意撤出而结束。[4]

全国性的反政府示威于2011年3月开始，示威者与安全部队之间的冲突在4月加剧。[11]2011年5月初，叙利亚军方对霍姆斯的反政府示威者进行镇压，部分示威者武装起来并攻击安全部队。[12]

到2012年5月，霍姆斯市大部分地区由政府军控制，反对派控制区占市区15%至20%左右。[13]

反对派撤出 编辑

2014年5月2日，一项停火协议达成，政府军容许余下的1,000名反对派武装分子离开霍姆斯到北面被反对派控制的市郊。[14][15]

5月7日，撤离行动开始，[16]至5月9日完成。[17]

拒绝接受2014年5月协议的武装分子和平民集中于霍姆斯市郊的瓦尔社区，继续遭受政府军围困。[18][19]到2016年9月12日终于有协议公布，反对派同意撤出瓦尔，300名武装分子转移至其它地方。[20]9月22日开始撤离行动，[21]不过到11月又中止。2017年3月，撤离行动恢复，最后一批反政府人员于2017年5月21日撤出。从2017年3月起，共有约7千名武装分子连同他们的家属另计约1万人撤出瓦尔。[22]另有1,150名武装分子选择留下，放下武器接受叙政府特赦。[23]
