编辑苹果与索尼影业继《拿破仑》（2023年）合作之后，签订了另一项合约，将《登月大计划》定于2023年12月在院在线映[10]。同月，改定档2024年7月12日在美国和加拿大上映[11]。本片最初选择直接流发行，但在经过挑选试映后根据反响，片方改决定在院在线映[12]。
