黛西·埃德加-琼斯出生于伦敦伊斯灵顿，是北爱尔兰人Wendy Edgar 和苏格兰人Philip Jones的女儿。Philip Jones是Sky Arts的总监和天空英国娱乐主管。[2]她在伦敦马斯韦尔山长大，并在5年级首次出演学校戏剧。[3]在进入国家青年剧院之前，她曾就读于磨坊山学校国际部和伍德豪斯学院[4]。[5]她就读于开放大学。[6]
