1998年北爱尔兰法令
1998年北爱尔兰法令（英语：Northern Ireland Act 1998）是英国国会通过的一项法案，允许英国政府在对北爱尔兰数十年的直接统治后将权力移交给北爱尔兰。[1]
1998年北爱尔兰法令将根据1998年《北爱尔兰（选举）法》设立的新北爱尔兰议会更名为北爱尔兰议会。
它废除了1920年爱尔兰政府法令和1973年北爱尔兰宪法法令的部分内容，并于1998年《贝尔法斯特协议》之后制定了符合欧盟和北爱尔兰和平进程的新规则。
1998年北爱尔兰法令规定北爱尔兰议会由108名议员组成。北爱尔兰议会的议员获得任期保障。北爱尔兰仍然是英国的一部分，除非北爱尔兰民众举行脱离英国的公投并获得多数票同意后始脱离英国之统治。如果北爱尔兰事务大臣认为大多数北爱尔兰选民有表达成为希望爱尔兰之一部分的愿望，他有权要求北爱尔兰举行全民公投。北爱尔兰议会有权修改英国国会的任何法案，只要它“是北爱尔兰法律的一部分”。[2]
