美国精神医学学会
美国精神医学学会（American Psychiatric Association）是美国精神科医生的专业组织，在行内具有全球性的影响力。现有约38000名会员，大部分在美国。其出版刊物包括学术期刊以及小册子以外，最为人熟悉的就是《精神疾病诊断与统计手册》，简称“DSM”。这本手册是美国主要诊断精神疾病的重要标准，亦是全世界许多国家在诊断精神疾病上的重要参考。
