微软认证数据库管理员
（重定向自MCDBA）
微软认证数据库管理员（MCDBA）为微软针对SQL Server数据库所推出的独立认证，特别针对数据库管理员所设计，持有此认证的专业人员，可被视为具有管理SQL Server以及设计数据库应用的专业能力与知识。MCDBA最早是自SQL Server 7.0开始推出，历经SQL Server 2000时期，两个时期的认证要求差不多，都是要求通过四科考试，包含数据库系统管理，数据库设计，服务器操作系统管理以及选考科目。
本认证已随着Exam 70-228与Exam 70-229于2009年3月31日停考后正式走入历史，但已发出的认证为永久有效。
MCDBA on SQL Server 7.0 编辑
MCDBA on SQL Server 7.0是第一代的MCDBA认证，配合SQL Server 7.0所需要的执行环境，以及程序发展的需求所设计，当时的作业环境为Windows 2000，并且在SQL Server 7.0中首次支持数据仓库的建置，但在当时并不是主要的需求，因此将数据仓库的考试放置在选考科目中。

MCDBA on SQL Server 2000 编辑
在SQL Server 2000时代，由于作业环境横跨了Windows 2000和Windows Server 2003，因此MCDBA的考试也纳入两个环境，在SQL Server 2000的考试配置的差异和SQL Server 7.0时期差不多，都需要通过系统管理与数据库设计两科考试。

由于微软新一代认证层次结构的推展，MCDBA已由MCITP取代，但现行的MCDBA on SQL Server 2000仍为永久有效。
