English: Phase diagram of water with temperature from 220 K to 280 K and pressure from 0 MPa to 400 MPa, with the stable region of ice III highlighted. Values for the melting curve were taken from the IAPWS release "Revised Release on the Pressure along the Melting and Sublimation Curves of Ordinary Water Substance", and the ice phase boundaries are based on the data of Bridgman (P. W. Bridgman, Water, in the liquid and five solid forms, under pressure. Proc. Am. Acad. Arts Sci. 47, 441–558 (1912)) and Kell & Whalley (G. S. Kell and E. Whalley, Equilibrium line between ice I and III. J. Chem. Phys. 48, 2359–2361 (1968)). All pressures of Bridgman were multiplied by a factor of 1.01086 as recommended by Babb [S. E. Babb, Jr., Some notes concerning Bridgman's manganin pressure scale, in High-pressure Measurement, edited by A. A. Giardini and E. C. Lloyd (1962)].
