English: Reading railway station frontage, showing both the old (1860s; now the Three Guineas pub) and new station buildings, with the station car park, Clearwater Court and Reading Bridge House behind.
Update (April 2020): Much of this has changed since the photo was taken, with a substantial new cross-track structure to the left of the old station building, meaning that it is no longer sensible to refer to what I called in my original comment as the 'new station buildings' by that name. The street in front of the old station building has been pedestrianised in the form of the new station square, whilst that to the left has been cut back to ground level. The building whose roof is seen in the foreground has been demolished. The car park from which the shot was taken is doomed too, with a new development to follow.
Update (December 2023): The vantage point for this shot has been demolished, and the Station Hill development is under construction on its site.
