入江昭

入江昭（1934年10月20日—）是一名日本出身的美国国际政治学家，哈佛大学名誉教授。専攻是美国政治外交史，并且在1988担任第一位日本出身者的美国历史学会会长。目前取得了美国籍。

生平

出生于东京都，毕业于成蹊高校后1953年取得奖学金前往美国留学，1957年毕业于哈弗福德学院，1961年再从哈佛大学取得历史学博士。

1961年起担任哈佛大学讲师、加利福尼亚大学圣塔克鲁兹分校助理教授，1968年成为罗彻斯特大学助理教授、1969年成为芝加哥大学历史系助理教授、1971年同教授、1989年成为哈佛大学历史系教授和系主任、期间也曾担任早稻田大学、立命馆大学、关西大学的客席教授。2005年获得瑞宝章，也曾因为研究成果获得吉野作造奖以及吉田茂奖。

1960年代起，与高坂正尧、永井阳之助等现实主义派学者共同活跃在‘中央公论’杂志的国际政治评论版上。外交史学者であるが‘日本の外交’（1966年）などに见られるように、思想・文化の影响力を重视するアプローチが特色であり、一国の外交史研究を超えた多国间の视点とその相互作用を组み込む“国际史（International History）”研究の提唱や、文化交流の国际政治の研究の必要を长く提唱していることでも知られる。

父亲是知名国际法学者、早稲田大学法学部客席教授入江启四郎，妻子是知名比较文学研究者、东京大学教养学部教授前田阳一的长女。担任芝加哥大学期间，曾经是中西宽的老师。
