凯克研究所

哈维穆德学院校长亨利·里格斯，他认为缺乏训练有素、将新科学发现转化为实际应用的科学家。于是在1997设立了凯克应用生命科学研究所，自己成为第一任校长，任期至2003年[3]
建立凯克应用生命科学研究所作为克莱蒙特第七所学院时遭到一些反对，特别是其他克莱蒙特学院教授反对其缺乏终身教授，以及反对在伯纳德生物野外站（Robert J. Bernard Field Station）旁边未开发的灌木丛林地建造校园的环保人士。[3][4]

凯克应用生命科学研究所的学术课程分为两个学院，应用生命科学学院和药学院。此外，凯克应用生命科学研究所提供四年制本科课程。[8]

凯基保有四个研究中心：罕见疾病治疗中心、生物标志物研究中心、科学遗产中心和安进生物处理中心。安进是一家美国制药公司，总部位于加州千橡市。 [9]

爱奥尼亚科技公司成立于2000年，是第一个凯基开发技术的分公司。[10]爱奥尼亚专注于新兴和传染性疾病的分子诊断，[11]并于2004年被授予开发使用恒温扩增DNA的手持式生物检测仪。[12]
