怀特鱼属

怀特鱼属（属名：Whiteia，得名自发现化石的地质学家艾罗·怀特）是已灭绝的腔棘鱼目肉鳍鱼类，也是怀特鱼科的模式属，生存于三叠纪后期，在腔棘鱼中具有相对较大的头部，吻部也较窄长。本属包含六个物种，全长介于7至49公分[2]，化石发现于格陵兰、加拿大、南非、马达加斯加与东南亚的帝汶岛[3][4][5][6]。
