懷特魚屬
史前肉鰭魚類
懷特魚屬(屬名:Whiteia,得名自發現化石的地質學家艾羅·懷特)是已滅絕的腔棘魚目肉鰭魚類,也是懷特魚科的模式屬,生存於三疊紀後期,在腔棘魚中具有相對較大的頭部,吻部也較窄長。本屬包含六個物種,全長介於7至49公分[2],化石發現於格陵蘭、加拿大、南非、馬達加斯加與東南亞的帝汶島[3][4][5][6]。
