森岛通夫

森岛通夫（日语：森嶋 通夫／もりしま みちお ^{Morishima Michio}，1923年7月8日—2004年7月13日），生于日本大阪，世界知名数学家与经济学者，专长于数理经济学与计量经济学。曾为伦敦政治经济学院荣誉教授，日本旭日章得主。

森岛被《日本经济新闻》专栏列为“与诺贝尔经济学奖擦肩的巨匠”。

生平

就读京都帝国大学经济学系期间，因太平洋战争，日本兵力不足，1943年，发起学徒出阵，征召20岁左右的年青学生从军。森岛通夫被征召进入大日本帝国海军。在通信学校毕业后，进入长崎的大村航空队，担任少尉，负责通信与密码解译。最后升任中尉。

在日本战败投降后，森岛通夫再度回到京都大学，跟随高田保马、青山秀夫学习经济学与社会学。1946年，毕业于京都大学，任教于京都大学。1951年，至大阪大学任教。他与高田保马共同创建了大阪大学社会经济研究所。

1960年，与劳伦斯·克莱因共同发起了国际经济学回顾（International Economic Review）期刊。

1965年，成为计量经济学会的首位日本籍会长。

1968年，至英国艾塞克斯大学担任教授。
