罗马体

拉丁字母字体排印学中,罗马体(英语:Roman type)是一种主要印刷字形,与哥特体(Blackletter)、意大利体并列为三大主流字形,也被称为标准体Regular)。罗马体根据古罗马时代,在建筑上的铭文而设计,其特色为直立、正写。起源于14世纪,当时为神圣罗马帝国时代。[5]文艺复兴时期,罗马体与意大利体成为两大主要印刷字形。

由Stanley Morison在1928年,根据Francesco Griffo在1495年的手稿而设计的Bembo字形,属于罗马体。[1][2][3][4]
