江孜镇

中国西藏自治区日喀则市江孜县下辖的镇

江孜镇藏语རྒྱལ་རྩེ་威利转写rgyal rtse),是中国西藏自治区日喀则市江孜县下辖的一个乡镇级行政单位。 它历史上被认为是西藏地区第三大和最著名的城镇(仅次于拉萨日喀则),但现在至少有十个更大的西藏城市[1]

位置 编辑

该镇地理位置优越,位于娘楚谷 (Nyang Chu 山谷),位于春丕河谷下司马镇锡金的古代贸易路线上,在此交汇。 从江孜出发,有路线通往下游的日喀则,并越过科拉拉(山口)到达西藏中部[2]。 该堡垒(建于1390年)[3]守卫雅鲁藏布江流域和拉萨的南部通道[4]。 该镇被3公里长的城墙包围[5]

人口统计 编辑

1952年,江孜人口约8000人[6],与2008年大致相同[7]。 它海拔 3,977 米(13,050 英尺),位于拉萨西南 254 公里处的尼扬河谷肥沃的平原上,位于连接尼泊尔加德满都拉萨中尼友谊公路的支线上。 江孜在被昌都取代之前是西藏第三大城市。
