洛杉矶之战（英语：Battle of Los Angeles），又称洛杉矶大空袭（The Great Los Angeles Air Raid），是指1942年发生在美国洛杉矶的一次UFO事件。1942年2月24日午夜至1942年2月25日凌晨2点，洛杉矶圣塔莫尼卡地区上空出现不明飞行物[2][3]。此时离珍珠港事件不到3个月，又先前（2月23日）日本刚进行埃尔伍德大轰炸（英语：Bombardment of Ellwood），美军因此认为可能是日本皇军的飞机。

当时的海军部长法兰克·那斯（英语：Frank Knox）在接下来的记者会上澄清，说这只不过是个“假警报”，报纸并刊登了一些报导及对这掩饰的猜测。一些现代的幽浮学家认为这些目标其实是外星飞船。在1949年记录事件时，美国海岸炮兵协会确定为气象气球出现于凌晨1点，射击时想像出各种不同的目标猜测[4]。1983年的空军历史档案库（U.S. Office of Air Force History）将此事件归咎于一颗遗失的气象气球及“对于战争的神经紧张”，并说后来的信号弹及防空炮火加剧了此事件。

1942年2月24日，海军情报发出警告，预计在未来十个小时内可能发生袭击。当天晚上，国防工厂附近报告了大量的照明弹和闪烁的灯光。下午7点18分发出防空警报，并于晚上10点23分解除警报。重新开始活动于25日清晨[5]。洛杉矶的空袭警报于凌晨2点25分响起[6]。居民被命令全面灯火管制，千名空袭督导员（英语：Air Raid Warden）站上了他们的岗位。凌晨3点16分第37海岸炮兵旅开始发射重达5.8公斤的防空炮，共发射了1400多发。第四拦截司令部的飞机已处于警戒状态，虽然并未起飞。防空炮火并断断续续的发射直到凌晨4点14分。灯火管制的命令于早上7点21分解除[7]。

数栋建筑物与车辆被误击，大约5位平民死于防空炮火，其中有3位因无法承受长达数小时的炮火声而死于心脏病[8]。此次事件上了美国西岸的报纸头版，并引起了全国媒体的关注[9]。

当代的媒体认为这只是另一次的掩饰。一位长滩独立报（英语：Press-Telegram）的编辑写道“这整件事中有个神秘的沉默：某种程度的媒体审查似乎想停止关于这整件事情的讨论。”（There is a mysterious reticence about the whole affair and it appears that some form of censorship is trying to halt discussion on the matter.）；有人认为在墨西哥北部有个秘密基地，也有人说日本具有航空母舰功能的潜舰驻扎在外海；甚至说这整件事情被夸大了，要给沿海的国防工业一个借口来搬到内陆[12]。

幽浮学 编辑

1942年2月26日在洛杉矶时报发表的一张照片被一些幽浮研究者和阴谋理论家引用作为外星生命探视证据的一部分，他们声称照片清晰地显示了外星飞船的探照灯 ; 然而，照片在出版前进行大量修改，为当时用于提高黑白照片对比度的图形艺术的常规做法[14][15]。
