简介 编辑

《派对动物》为凯莎的首张专辑，原本凯莎一直在帮其他艺人作曲或配唱，终于有机会能发唱片，在专辑发行前率先发行了首张单曲《跑趴滴答》，《跑趴滴答》获得了《公告牌》百强单曲榜的冠军，且后来获得八白金的认证[2]，让这张专辑尚未推出前就备受期待。

凯莎早在多钱就就开始录制了多首样本唱片，而后来样本被BMI的主管Samantha Cox交给了他的同事Lukasz Gottwald也就是Dr.Luke，而凯莎18岁时被签到了Dr.Luke的唱片公司“Kemosabe Records”，但是Luke总是忙于其他的项目，凯莎因而转签到“David Sonenberg 's management company”（DAS），在DAS的那段期间，他曾与一些顶级的编剧及制作人一起工作过但很少时间能与Dr.Luke接触，曾有华纳音乐的代表Kara DioGuardi想将凯莎给签下来，但因为Luke的关系而没成。而后凯莎与DAS解约[3]，在2008年年底刚好Dr.Luke参加了佛罗·里达《Right Round》的制作，变找来了凯莎合音并想请他在音乐视频内扮演妓女的角色，但凯莎未答应在音乐视频中演出，而《Right Round》单曲的成功，让凯莎受到瞩目，且Luke让凯莎到许多国家参加演出。而后许多唱片公司开始寻求与凯莎签订唱片合约，最终凯莎选择了RCA Records[4] ，她说“Rani（RCA的代表）永远不试图审查我……”。
