伍兹在他家乡俱乐部沃尔索尔学习踢球，但到15岁那年被放弃后，便在2009年转到施鲁斯伯里镇继续足球梦[3]。2012年5月，他与俱乐部签下首份职业合约[4]，并在同年12月15日首次入选一队阵容参加英甲联赛对卡莱尔联的比赛，但没有上场[5]。继历6次同样是未用替补后[5]，他终在2013年4月23日对奥尔德姆的比赛在89分钟上场，最终以1-0取胜[6]。4天后主场对朴茨茅斯的比赛，他在完场前6分钟换上，最终以3-2取胜[6]。季后伍兹与俱乐部续约[7]。

2021年6月23日，他转投伯明翰并签约三年[47]。他在联赛揭幕日对谢菲尔德联的比赛首次上场。可是随着赛季推进，球队进球和防守能力弱使伍兹失了首发并置给加里·加德纳[48]，他只有加德纳红牌离场时才有机会上场[49]，但他自己在对考文垂的比赛同样拿到红牌离场[50][51]。

停赛后他在1月中以6-2大胜富勒姆的比赛重返首发位置，并保持他的位置达六星期[52]。之后陈达毅伤愈复出后，教练李·鲍耶改变了阵容，伍兹的位置输给了后腰队友伊万·舒尼奇[53]，他在最后两个月只上场4次[54]。2022/23赛季，伍兹在新主教练约翰·尤斯塔斯下首发上场了球队首两场比赛[55]。
