凤头鹦鹉亚科
鸚形目鳳頭鸚鵡科下的一個亞科
凤头鹦鹉亚科（学名：Cacatuinae，台湾作白凤头鹦鹉亚科）是鹦鹉目凤头鹦鹉科下的一个亚科。[1]现下属4属16种，模式属为法国鸟类学家路易·皮埃尔·维埃约于1817年建立完整的凤头鹦鹉属。[2][1][3]这个亚科虽然被冠以“白凤头鹦鹉亚科”的名称，但实际上包含了白、灰、粉红和黑色等羽色的鹦鹉。[4]

本族由英国动物学家乔治·罗伯特·格雷于1837年以亚科层级建立，除了凤头鹦鹉，当时还包含了鸮面鹦鹉及彼氏鹦鹉等物种。[1][5]目前独立为一个亚科的鸡尾鹦鹉在过去的部分研究中被认为应归类于本亚科下。[1][6]在一份针对30个线粒体DNA的分子研究中，本亚科的祖先约在中新世中期至晚期的11.4百万年出现，这时候的澳大利亚大陆正处于气候逐渐转为干燥而寒冷的时段。[4]
