矛蚁亚科
矛蚁亚科（学名：Dorylinae），常被译作行军蚁亚科[1]，但事实上该科并非所有的物种都具有行军蚁行为，是蚁科的一个亚科，分布于旧世界和新世界。2014年，Brady等将以前矛蚁形态（Dorylomorph）的亚科（Aenictinae、Aenictogitoninae、Cerapachyinae、Ecitoninae、Leptanilloidinae 及 Dorylinae）合并于矛蚁亚科下[2]。矛蚁亚科下有29个属，包含1个已灭绝的属[3]。

矛蚁亚科的拉丁语学名“Dorylinae”和矛蚁属的拉丁语学名“Dorylus”来源于希腊语“δόρυ”（Dory），意为“矛”。[4]
