粗面玄武岩

粗面玄武岩（英语：Trachybasalt）是一种介于粗面岩和玄武岩之间的火山岩。 它类似于玄武岩，但含有高含量的碱金属氧化物。 粗面玄武岩中的矿物质包括碱性长石、钙质斜长石、橄榄石、单斜辉石，可能还有极少量的白榴石或方沸石 [1]。

当隐晶岩质（细粒）火成岩的二氧化硅含量约为 49% 且总碱金属氧化物含量约为 6% 时，它被归类为粗面玄武岩。 在TAS 图的 S1 区域。 粗面玄武岩又分为富钠夏威夷岩和富钾粗面玄武岩，夏威夷岩的钠钾重量比为Na2O>K2O+2 [2][3][4] 。粗面玄武岩的侵入岩是二长岩 [5]。
QAPF分类图表上没有定义粗面玄武岩，这图表是根据长石和石英的相对含量对结晶火成岩进行分类。 然而，美国地质调查局将粗面玄武岩定义为镁铁质火山岩（由超过 35% 的镁铁质矿物组成，其岩石中的石英-长石-似长石部分中石英小于 20%和长石小于 10%，斜长石占长石总含量的 65% 至 90% [6]。

粗面玄武岩在大陆火山活动中很多，在一些海洋岛屿上也有[7]。在埃特纳火山[8]和泰勒山（新墨西哥州）皆盛产[9]。 它也在火星上的盖尔陨石坑中被发现[10]。
