詹姆斯·托宾
美国经济学家（1918—2002）
詹姆斯·托宾（英语：James Tobin，1918年3月5日—2002年3月11日），生于美国伊利诺伊州尚佩恩，著名经济学家，曾任教于哈佛大学与耶鲁大学，专长在于总体经济学，为1981年诺贝尔经济学奖得主。他发展了凯恩斯主义经济学，为新凯恩斯学派的一员，支持政府介入。

生平 编辑
1935年，进入哈佛大学。在大学期间，开始研读于1936年出版的《就业、利息与货币的一般理论》。1940年，取得硕士学位。
1941年，因为第二次世界大战，托宾中断了博士班学业，加入在华盛顿特区的物价管理局与战时生产委员会。1942年，美国参战，托宾被征召加入美国海军，在驱逐舰上担任军官。战争结束后，返回哈佛，继续博士课程。1947年取得博士学位，指导教授为约瑟夫·熊彼得。1985年出席中国巴山轮会议。
