马萨诸塞湾省

马萨诸塞湾省（英语：Province of Massachusetts Bay）是英属美洲的直辖殖民地，1776年起成为美国起初十三个州之一。1691年10月7日由英格兰、苏格兰及爱尔兰王国共同国君威廉三世和玛丽二世颁布特许状。特许状自1692年5月14日起生效，包括马萨诸塞湾殖民地、普利茅斯殖民地、缅因省、马萨葡萄园岛、南塔克特、新斯科舍省及新不伦瑞克省，马萨诸塞联邦是直接继承者。缅因州自1820年起分离，新斯科舍省和新不伦瑞克省现为加拿大省分，只作为马萨诸塞湾省直至1697年。

马萨诸塞的名称来自马萨诸塞印第安人，是阿贡昆人民族，意为“在大山上”，指的是蓝山保护区和大蓝山。
