生活习性

和所有其他裂螺一样,天盖螺都是食草的,它们用齿舌从岩石上刮下藻类进食。一个例外是Diodora apertura,它在海绵上吃草[2][3],如膜海绵Hymeniacidon英语Hymeniacidon)。[4] 呼吸和排泄的水从外壳边缘下吸入,并通过顶端或附近的“小孔”排出。
