M52
M52或梅西耶52，也称为NGC 7654，是在北天仙后座的一个疏散星团。它是查尔斯·梅西耶在1774年9月7日发现的[2]。在地球上，使用双筒望远镜就可以看见这个星团。这个星团的南半部受到消光的影响非常明显[5]。

罗伯特·朱利斯·特朗普勒在他的特朗普勒分类法将M52分类为 II2r，表示星团低度向中心集中，亮星和暗星的数量相当，而且星数众多（超过100颗）[6]。后来，改分为I2r，表示向中心高度集中，有密集的核心[5]。 这个星团的核心半径是2.97 ± 0.46 ly（0.91 ± 0.14 pc），潮汐半径为42.7 ± 7.2 ly（13.1 ± 2.2 pc）[3]。估计年龄约1.585亿年[1]，质量约1,200 M☉.[3]。
视星等+8.3的超巨星BD+ 60°2532可能是M52的成员[3]。 其它的成员包括18颗慢脉动B型变星T，其中一颗是盾牌座δ型变星，3颗是剑鱼座γ型变星 [7]；可能还有3颗Be星 [8]。星团的核心缺乏星际物质，这可能是星团早期历史有超新星爆炸的结果[5]。
