三星Galaxy Gear
Samsung Galaxy Gear是一款智能手表，由三星电子在2013年9月4日在柏林举行的发表会上公开。[1]这款手表只能与Galaxy Note 3和Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition搭配使用，Galaxy S4、Galaxy S III和Galaxy Note II在升级到Android 4.3后也可搭配使用。三星的发言人表示这款手表在未来将支持更多的设备。[2]

Galaxy Gear推出后受到不少批评，其中美联社记者试用后发现Galaxy Gear的语音指令服务反应缓慢，同时伴随许多转译错误，操作困难：“目前为止，Gear像是一款300美元的雏形机，感觉上，三星似乎急急忙忙推出这个产品，赶搭假日购物潮那样。”又指产品有电池续航不足、功能太少、价格太高、兼容性有限等多项缺点。[7]亦有评论认为Gear手表“为抢风头，研发仅用三个月，表盘周围的螺丝更是在发布会前几天才最终定型，如此一款速成产品自然问题百出。”[8]而纽约时报科技专栏作家大卫-波格则表示：“没有人会选购这款手表，而且也不应该选购这款手表。” 他又认为从软件设计、用户指南，到英文翻译和设计一致性，Galaxy Gear都是“糟糕的人机界面”[9]。VentureBeat的评论将其形容为“比起真正要满足顾客的需求，这个产品更大程度上好像是为了应对苹果公司的威胁而制造出来的”（It feels like a device built reflexively out of the threat of Apple's eventual smartwatch, rather than to fulfill an actual consumer need）[10]。新华社亦引述三星一位高层指三星也承认Galaxy Gear缺乏关键性的创新[11]。美国诺基亚更曾在其Twitter上嘲弄三星的智能手表Galaxy Gear太“2013年”，并建议三星在2014年带来有插头和可以放光盘“智能鞋子”，引使美国三星以粗口“go fuck yourself”回骂，并被批评“没品”[12]。
Galaxy Gear的退货率高达30%[13]。
