1997年1月14日，Futon Media执行长布莱恩·福特·苏利文登记了“The Futon Critic”一网站[1][2]。该网站自创立以来就常发表和黄金时段节目的评论和对电视人物的访谈[3]。The Futon Critic也会发表新闻稿、节目表和尼尔森收视率的数据报告，这些数据已被《赫芬顿邮报》和TV by the Numbers网站等媒体上的文章所引用[4][5][6]。其尼尔森收视率报告也在科罗拉多大学波德分校及天普大学等机构当作资源来使用[7][8]。
