硅酸酯是硅的含氧酸形成的酯,其中以原硅酸酯(Si(OR)4)最为常见。它们可由四氯化硅反应制得。硅酸酯可以在水中水解,生成硅酸和相应的醇。

硅酸四甲酯是最简单的原硅酸酯。
