南丁格尔誓言
南丁格尔誓言,是一组护理行业伦理与原则上的声明。它是由利斯特拉·格雷特(Lystra Gretter)和底特律法兰德护士培训学校的一个委员会于1893年建立的。因受到了现代护理学奠基人弗罗伦斯·南丁格尔作品的启发,而命名为南丁格尔誓言。1935年,格雷特对誓言进行了扩充。

编辑I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully.
I shall abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, and shall not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug.
I shall do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling.
I shall be loyal to my work and devoted towards the welfare of those committed to my care.[1][2][3]
